Simplifying shapes in architecture and studying how light defines form fascinates me; whether it is pillars that flank Notre Dame, Grecian ruins at Lindos, or the quaint cottages on Pawley’s Island, I am given the enjoyment of defining shapes in space through the exploitation of color and value in my paintings.
